Our client, a reputable company renowned for its commitment to excellence, is seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Buyer to join their team.

\r
\r


In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Procurement Manager to support the implementation of a new procurement policy while achieving substantial cost savings.

Your responsibilities will include running RFQs, sourcing tasks, and managing third-party relationships to enhance service delivery. \r
\r

Key

Responsibilities:
\r
\r

\r
\tAssist in selecting and negotiating supplier contracts, conducting RFQs, and sourcing initiatives in line with the new procurement policy. \r
\tEnsure timely issuance of purchase orders and support in contract renewals. \r
\tConduct basic reviews of agreements and assist in timely signing. \r
\tPerform ongoing due diligence of key suppliers to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. \r
\tLiaise with approved suppliers, conduct service reviews, and assist in supplier audits. \r
\tTake ownership of documentation related to regulatory requirements with the support of the purchasing assistant. \r

Candidate Requirements:
\r

\r

\r
\tProven experience in a procurement/purchasing environment 1+ years \r
\tFamiliarity with procurement processes and tools such as RFQs and sourcing initiatives. \r
\tKnowledge of the P2P cycle and Commercial Contracts. \r
\tAbility to effectively manage relationships with third-party suppliers. \r
\tDetail-oriented with the ability to work independently. \r
\r
\r

Core hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week .

After an office-based training period our client offer flexible working with the option to spend 2-3 days a week working from home, Monday is a mandatory office working day.
