About Us & The Role

Lighthorne Heath Primary School is looking to appoint a Clerical/Finance Assistant to join our existing School Administrator. The Clerical/Finance Assistant will assist in the main office as well as being responsible for finance administration. Further details are available in the job description attached to this advert.



You will be required to work Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm with a one hour lunch break. The post is term time only.

Key Requirements

We are looking for someone who is able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.

You should be able to communicate with our pupils, staff, parents and carers in a friendly manner whilst understanding the need for confidentiality and sometimes compassion.



The role requires someone with a minimum of English and Maths GCSE or equivalent and some prior office experience.



You should have good numeracy skills and be able to maintain accurate records and have experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel. (Full training will be given for our school systems)



You should be enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and approachable and ensure all visitors to our lovely school feel welcome and cared for.
