About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and student-focused individual for the role of Student Wellbeing Services Manager. This is a key new role providing specialist advice and support to students experiencing mental health difficulties and promoting the general health and wellbeing of all students.

The successful candidate will be an experienced lead practitioner with proven managerial experience gained within relevant disciplines, such as mental health services, clinical psychology, counselling or social work. Appropriate professional training and accreditation need to be supplemented by substantial post-qualification practice. Working with the Head of Student Services and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of high-quality professional student-facing services which will effectively support our students' mental health and psychological wellbeing.

In addition, you will enjoy the challenge of creating new ways to deliver a proactive and responsive service which meets the changing needs of our students. You will demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload. You will also have the ability to provide information, training, advice and consultancy support for staff throughout the University College.

About the Person

You will have a positive and enthusiastic approach. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines are also essential requirements. You must have a high level of digital competency and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
