Cover Supervisor

We are looking for candidates who would have an interest in working for Northwood School on a casual basis as a Casual Cover Supervisor.

Northwood School is a highly successful, high performing 11-18 comprehensive in the London Borough of Hillingdon Judged 'Outstanding' - Ofsted October 2018 The main function of this job is to supervise classes of students in the event of teacher absence. You will have: We are looking for individuals with good literacy and numeracy skills, who can promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so that they achieve their best. Good communication skills, an observant eye and attention to detail are essential. You will need to have a calm nature and work effectively in a busy environment.As a Cover Supervisor, you will need a good standard of education and enjoy working with young people, so you can help and support students aged 11-16 years of age in the classroom.Manage the behaviour of students in accordance with school policy to ensure a constructive learning environment.
