Sulis Hospital Bath, a leading healthcare provider in Somerset and pioneer in patient care and experience, has an opportunity for a Private Biller to join our Finance team on a Fixed term contract.

Role & Responsibilities

The post holder will report directly to the Financial Accountant and will be responsible for the daily billing and invoicing for all inpatient, day case, outpatient, and diagnostic activity across the hospital for self-pay and insurance patients.

This role requires the postholder to ensure patient activity is billed on an individual basis accurately, to ensure that the correct specialty, lead clinician and value are billed accordingly to the underlying purchaser (self-pay and Private Medical Insurance).

The role will support with month-end processes, assist the accounts receivable team with ensuring accurate and timely billing and problem-solve.

This role will require you to work autonomously, using your own initiative to prioritise and complete a variable and high-volume workload.
