Job SummaryYou will plan and teach engaging and interactive lessons based on New College Group's themed materials, prepare students for excursions and assist the Academic Manager in testing new students.
We operate a full-day teaching programme (30 contact hours a week Monday to Friday).

Planning time, administrative and supervisory duties and CPD sessions will also be included in your working week (40 hours in total).

There may be a week at the beginning or end of summer when the teaching load is lighter, and you will be required to participate in the social/activity programme, working alongside the Activity Leaders.

New College Group is accredited by the British Council.

A DBS check will be requested in the event of a successful application and a Police check may be required from any country where an applicant has spent more than six months in the last three years.

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.Qualificationsuniversity degree + CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent
native level competency in English
good classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a friendly but professional relationship with the students
experience of working with children/teenagers, preferably within a summer school setting
experience of teaching multilingual groups
flexible and adaptable
