Heating Fitter

To be able to work individually or within a team with minimal supervision.

We are currently looking for an experienced time served Heating Fitter/Plumber to join our team. You will be required to work within a busy Building Services team involving Maintenance and Capital Works of Public Buildings within the County Borough.

The Main Duties of the post:

• To carry out Building Maintenance works to Council Buildings; Schools; Civic Buildings; Office Buildings; Celtic Leisure Facilities.
• Working as part of a team or independently.
• Responsible for all aspects of one's Primary Trade of Heating Fitter/Plumber & any other trade works within one's own knowledge, skillset & understanding as & when required.
• You will be required to carry out Heating Fitter/Plumber work as instructed by the Mechanical Supervisors/Engineer (including Gas related pipework).

You will have experience in:

• Working within the Building Construction Industry.
• Understanding of the work and customer expectations with respect to Building Services.

Previous maintenance experience.

An experienced time served Heating Fitter/Plumber is required to work within a busy Building Services team involving installation, maintenance, and servicing of Public Buildings within the County Borough.

The post requires the successful applicant to be a fully qualified Heating Fitter/Plumber. (e.g. City and Guilds or NVQ level 3).
