Our retained client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant.

The role is to start on the 1stof September and is to cover a 12 month contract for maternity leave

The role will involve:
Production of monthly management accounts

Posting deferred income and reviewing rental income against budget

Ensuring costs are accrued or prepaid in the correct periods

Providing commentary on areas of significant variance

Production of month-end balance sheet reconciliations

Tracking overheads against budget

Purchase and sales ledger

Managing the service charge reconciliations

Monitoring recharges

Providing support and guidance to the purchase ledger team

Compliance activities

Handling information requests and queries from external auditors

Other

Assist Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks

Work with the team to improve systems and processes

Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary

The role is based in Altrincham it is 2 days in the office and hybrid working.

There is also car parking on site.

The role will be interviewing in July with a start date of the 1stof September.
