ABOUT THE ROLE

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the restaurant's opening and beyond. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking, loves to motivate others and is committed to excellence

As Sous Chef, key aspects of your role will include:

  • Work in partnership with the Kitchen's leadership team to recruit, train and mentor junior members of the team
  • Develop a supportive and nurturing atmosphere within the team
  • Assist in developing new menu items
  • Take responsibility for sections of the kitchen
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating culinary excellence and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to our high standards.

W Edinburgh will bring bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital.
