Applications are invited for the post of Depuy Fellow in Lower Limb Arthroplasty at South Warwickshire University Foundation Trust.

There will be adequate time available to undertake research/audit projects, which will be a requirement of the post and to undertake independent operating lists.

Main duties of the job

In collaboration with Deputy Ltd, a fellowship position is available to a suitable candidate (only those with FRCS (Orth) or equivalent), who is capable of undertaking primary lower limb arthroplasty independently, but would like to gain more experience in advanced techniques and revision surgery.

Job responsibilities

This is a fixed term appointment for one year. The post will be ideally suited for those who wish to pursue a career in joint replacement surgery. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the Depuy trials/research within the Department. He/she will also supply the data for research and development. They will participate in both Outpatients and Elective surgery, closely supervised by senior Orthopaedic Consultants.

Essential

  • FRCS(Orth) / MRCS or equivalent

    • Evidence of a commitment to Lower Limb athroplasty as a career.
