Commercial Property Lawyer – London – up to £50 per hour – Hybrid Working

Position: Commercial Property Lawyer

Organisation: Authority based in Greater London

Duration: 3 months with the option for an extension

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working of 2 days per week Office Attendance

Hourly Rate: Up to £50 per hour

Venn Group's specialist public sector legal team are recruiting for Local Authority based in London, who are in search of a Commercial Property Lawer to assist the team owing to a drive to expand the department

The role of Locum Commercial Property Lawyer is offered for an initial 3 month period with the potential being there for extension based upon performance and requirement. This will allow a Property lawyer to join the team and play a pivotal role in the expansion of the team

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEx) with a proven track record of successfully managing Property Law cases within Local Government

Duties Shall Include:

  1. Complex Workload Management: Handle a diverse and complex workload related to commercial property asset management
  2. Property Transactions: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of land title matters and relevant legislation governing property transactions
  3. Asset Management: Provide expert legal advice and support in managing commercial property assets, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
  4. Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to property transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards
  5. Client Advisory: Offer strategic and practical legal advice to clients on property matters, developing solutions to complex issues to meet client needs efficiently
  6. Compliance and Governance: Ensure all transactions and dealings comply with relevant regulations and governance standards
