Fixed Term Contract: From 23rd September for 2 to 3 Months
Salary: £40,000 Pro Rata
We're looking for a Flu Nurse to join our Primary Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join us here at HCA Healthcare UK to assist in the comprehensive delivery of the Flu immunisation for 2024.
We are looking for a skilled flu shot nurse with a broad understanding of vaccine safety procedures to administer vaccinations at our healthcare facility. You will be responsible for keeping a record of patients' vaccinations and the vaccines' proper storage.
This role will involve travel across HCA sites and client facilities throughout London. Travel expenses are covered.

What you'll be doing:
Assess the clients' wellness and suitability for the vaccination in line with the prescribed PGD
Administer intramuscular vaccination as required
Monitoring patients' reactions to vaccinations during the administration of vaccines .
Implementing and adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
Ensuring that flu vaccinations are stored correctly and securely.
Maintaining the inventory of supplies needed to administer the vaccines.
What you'll bring:
Completed degree in Nursing.
NMC Registration
Knowledge of sharps management, vaccinations, safety procedures, and storage protocols
Previous nursing experience is essential either NHS or private sector
Patience and compassion for patients with physical, mental, and emotional issues.
The ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate.
