What You'll Be Doing
Lead the Financial Reporting team within Group FinanceResponsible for the Group's statutory financial reporting process in order to achieve high quality, accurate and timely external financial reportingSubject matter expert on relevant IFRS accounting matters for the Group, ensuring that financial reporting complies with all reporting requirements, and making sure new accounting standards are adopted by the business on a timely mannerManage the external reporting process, including the relationship with external auditorsOwnership of the monthly Group consolidation process,Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, legal, company secretary, communications, tax, treasury, investor relations, and commercial finance teams as well as the auditors and external advisors.Preparation of Audit Committee papers and ownership of Group accounting policiesProvide independent review and challenge around Balance Sheet reporting for the Group on a periodic basisOwnership of financial controls for Group ReportingResponsibility for the development and maintenance of accounting policies and governance of financial processes, ensuring standards and accounting policies are aligned across all legal entitiesWork closely with the other Heads of within Group Finance to deliver the Group strategy and ensure continued engagement, talent planning and succession within the wider teamTechnical accounting advice on ad hoc projectsSupporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
