The Foundry Machine Operator will be responsible for working in the investment wax area; operating wax and wax core machines to achieve production targets

The Succesful Foundy Machine Operator will receive:
  • 25 Days Annual leave PLUS bank holidays

The main duties of the Foundry Machine Operator will include:
  • Production of cores using the core wax machine
  • Production of wax impressions from the Wax machine
  • Preparation of the wax tree and shell mould
  • Assisting the cell leader with de-wax of the shell mould
  • Assisting the cell leader with preparation of melt
  • Checking equipment and tools for preventative maintenance
  • Liaise with and correct issues raised by the quality department
  • Complete production paperwork
The successful Foundry Machine Operator will:
  • Have a flexible approach to their work
  • Be prepared to learn and undertake courses
  • Have a reasonable standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Be a team player
  • Be comfortable standing for long periods of time and working with heavy objects
  • Previous experience in machine operations is preferred but not essential
