We are seeking to appoint a class teacher. We particularly welcome applications from ECTs or those in their early years of teaching who would value working as part of a team – we work in phases to support planning, assessment and general organisation and work in subject leadership teams so that nobody leads a subject alone. The role could be in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on the strength and preference of applicants.

We offer full support and an induction programme for all new staff, alongside a commitment to continued professional development. Our children finish at 2pm on a Friday which enables staff dedicated teaching and learning CPD and implementation time which improves teachers work life balance alongside supporting children's mental health by giving them a longer weekend with their families.

We will appoint initially on a temporary 12 months fixed term contract, with the very strong possibility this will be made permanent after 12 months.

Valley Primary School is committed to safeguarding children; successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and will be required to disclose all relevant information for appropriate safeguarding checks.
