Our client is a leading logistics company specialising in the transportation of building materials and construction supplies. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering insulation products to various construction sites, ensuring timely and safe deliveries

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently transport insulation products to designated construction sites

Ensure all deliveries are made on time, adhering to scheduled timelines

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, maintaining it in good working condition

Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies, ensuring the safe handling and transportation of goods

Provide excellent customer service, effectively communicating with site managers and addressing any delivery issues or concerns

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) LGV license

Valid CPC & Digi Card

Proven experience as a Class 1 driver, preferably with experience in delivering construction materials

Familiarity with safe loading and unloading practices, particularly with insulation products

Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle delivery schedules efficiently

Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and complying with all relevant safety regulations
