We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Humanities for one academic year, to contribute to the ongoing development of the faculty. A commitment to promoting the highest possible academic success and all-round development of our students is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, talented and well-motivated teacher to join our innovative and supportive faculty.

The successful candidate will have an affinity with young people and be outward thinking in their approach to teaching and learning with the enthusiasm to develop these popular subjects and a vision to continue the excellent work already undertaken. A feature of Humanities is strong student-teacher relationships with staff regularly running after-school revision sessions and extra-curricular clubs. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and uphold the departmental ethos is therefore essential.

You must have very good subject knowledge and be committed to raising the achievement and aspirations of all students. Our Humanities Team is a dynamic and hard-working department with a philosophy of sharing resources and collaborative working.

The successful candidate will:
