Role Overview

As Video Editor, you will have an extremely creative and operational mindset, and will have a thorough understanding of producing both long-form and short-form content for a variety of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. The Video Editor will be responsible for delivering best in class video assets for all social channels, with a primary focus on YouTube. You will report into the Social Media Manager and work with the wider marketing team to deliver out of this world 360 marketing campaigns. You will be a complete expert in the world of video, always on the pulse with new trends, and constantly strive to develop and innovate all areas of video to put Space NK at the forefront of content creation to attract a thriving community.

Key Responsibilities

Support to implement the Social Media Strategy across all channels, through the creation of exciting and innovative video content to engage audiences and identify opportunities for innovative content creation. - Responsible for the full production process of YouTube content, from concept to post-production, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Responsible for YouTube content creation, including filming & camera operations, sound, and lighting when on set to create best in class content fit for YouTube, and deliver deliverables to brief and to deadline. Responsible for editing best in class video content for YouTube. Support with short-form content creation across Instagram and TikTok, including filming and editing. Maintain & operate all shoot equipment, ensuring proper care and functionality to support production, including the setup of all equipment, cameras, sound, and lighting. Ensure all project & elevated video content is captured and edited to brief, in line with resource allocation, budget and deadlines. Strong creative vision with an ability to turn a brief into an exciting, engaging piece of video content that captivates audiences. Support wider social & marketing team to capture footage and edit footage at live events in line with content briefs. Work with YouTube Social Media Coordinator to constantly strive to develop and innovate video content bringing new and exciting ideas to the table for YouTube and wider channels. Work with YouTube Social Media Coordinator to create dynamic storyboards and content scripts for YouTube to bring search-based content to life to reach new audiences. Responsible for turning a content brief into an exciting, engaging piece of video content that captivates audience whilst solving a search query to ensure maximum discoverability. - Adapt storytelling techniques to suit various platforms and content formats. Deliver video assets with suitable grade to ensure balanced, appropriate delivery of video assets in line with brand image. Experience & detailed working in Adobe Premier Pro & Mac with ability to support the team with wider technical difficulties. Create and oversee a bespoke video management workflow system to keep all content organised and efficiently adhere to deadlines. Line manages the content creator assistant to ensure they support the social media team in the production & execution of both long form and short form content. Stay current with the latest video editing software and social media trends. Key Skills and Experience:

2+ years of experience within the social media industry. Demonstrated experience in content creation skills, including filming & video editing, supported by a diverse portfolio (including long-form and short-form content). Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and content preferences. Exceptional storytelling and visual composition abilities. Strong organisational and time management skills. Capability work both independently and collaboratively within a team, in a fast-paced, reactive environment. A strong passion for social media and a commitment to staying ahead of digital trends Passion for the beauty industry. Confident comfortable on camera with the ability to create reactive content quickly. Strong copywriting Track record of scroll-stopping social first campaigns High attention to detail. Excellent multi-tasking and organisational Experience in managing people. A solving approach. Excellent interpersonal with a confident ability to and influence effectively.
