About the role and team

The Merchant Enterprise Global Operations Group is a best-in-class organization supporting Worldpay's Enterprise customers through implementation and onboarding, exceptional on-going client services and regional strategy, ensuring the highest standards for client experience are set, and day to day operations are managed seamlessly.

The Global Enterprise Operations team have a number of high impact transformational deliverables and initiatives to support the business as it navigates through a period of significant change. Central to this will be Worldpay's ability to exceed customer expectations.

This is an exciting and pivotal role for the success of our overall aspiration and a key leadership role in an established and scaled business. The newly formed Transformation function's critical areas of focus will be centered on three key pillars all aimed at driving Operational Excellence and high-quality service: - Technology Innovation, Automation of Processes and Customer Experience. To further support this, you will set up a new function within the team that will lead the engagement with Product and Technology partners to support client and business requirements.

What you will be doing

As part of the Enterprise Operations business, the VP Transformation will direct and ensure the successful end to end delivery of the Enterprise Transformation Programme. The VP will ensure the management of end-to-end dependencies, sequencing of key deliveries, management of resource and optimisation of the benefits delivery. You will be expected to collaborate closely with the SVP of Operations, Anne van Schrader and the Operations Leadership team in nurturing a customer centric culture that strives for Operational Excellence and high-quality service, ensuring that Operations is positioned as an effective functional partner to sales and account management teams. You will also foster a mindset of innovation and creative thinking by ensuring that the business leverages cutting edge technology and solutions to optimise process, underpinning sustainable levels of growth and innovation for the firm and its customers.

This role will also manage a team of professionals of approximately 30 who will:

  • Spearhead and champion transformative initiatives, driving the modernisation of operational processes and the adoption of automation technologies to significantly enhance business efficiency, customer satisfaction and competitiveness working across
  • Optimise the end-to-end lifecycle for onboarding through Salesforce and support the boarding and amendments processes for all Enterprise merchants this includes Project Management support for complex new business deals.
  • Support and foster a culture that prioritises exceptional customer experiences by implementing continuous improvements. This includes initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, cultivate loyalty, and drive a customer-focused ethos throughout the division's operations.
  • Lead Enterprise Ops engagement with Product and Engineering. Act as key liaison and own the product and engineering roadmap for Enterprise Ops working with the Chief of Staff, Regional Ops and Ops functional leaders and their respective ops team to gather key requirements whilst also tracking deliverables, progress and support from Product and Engineering teams.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated success in entrepreneurial ventures or initiatives, with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on growth initiatives.
  • They must be experienced in driving significant change at pace and in leveraging and developing partnerships to achieve this with external vendors.
  • The ability to think globally, ensuring consistency and alignment across different regions, while also adapting to local nuances and needs.
  • Substantial proven experience as a Transformation Specialist with the delivery of scale, complex programmes at pace.
  • Ability to network effectively, negotiate and influence people.
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.
  • First class presentation skills.
