Librarian

This is an exciting opportunity to come work at school with a fantastic library space and a robust reading-for-pleasure culture. Saracens Library sits at the heart of the academic and non-academic life of the school, hosting an exciting literary calendar of events and activities. As the Librarian you will deliver an enthusiastic and efficient service for all our pupils that encourages a reading culture across the School.

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering an effective service which positions the library as a valuable and proactive part of Saracens High School. You will help create, encourage and drive a culture where pupils are motivated and developed to become their best selves.

This role is permanent and can be done term-time only (39 weeks) on a full-time or part-time basis.

Saracens High School is a new 11-18 free school that opened in September 2018 in Colindale, North London. We are growing year on year until we have 1130 pupils aged Our state-of-the-art building, which opened in October 2021, has exceptional facilities.

We serve a wonderfully diverse community in the Colindale area of North London, which also has exceptional transport links with the Northern Line (Colindale) and mainline trains (Mill Hill Broadway), and easy access to main commute routes (M1, A1, A41).
