Prior Park College, Bath is looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Teacher of Religious Studies to join our thriving Theology department from September 2024.

The ideal candidate will be a specialist teacher with an excellent academic background, first-rate communications skills and a passion for holistic education. The position could suit an ECT starting their journey into teaching and looking to benefit from our structured & recognised induction programme, or a more experienced practitioner eager to take the next step in their career at this prestigious and friendly school.

The Theology department comprises five teachers and enjoys a dedicated suite of classrooms at the heart of our estate, along with Prior Park's exquisite neo-classical Chapel, the Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows. The department supports Religious Studies provision as a core subject at KS3 and GCSE and is a popular option at A-Level.

Familiarity with the teachings of the Catholic church would be desirable.

All staff and students at Prior enjoy their own school-provided Windows 11 laptop for use at work and home with touchscreen and active pen technology. Staff laptops dock into large flat-panel displays in all classrooms, and our teaching makes extensive use of Microsoft OneNote and Teams.
