Location: Birmingham

Rate: £25 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Temporary / Locum

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Early Intervention team in Birmingham. This is a locum position offering a competitive rate of £25 per hour for 37.5 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions for children and adolescents.

Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy.

Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to support the young person's recovery journey.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with NHS policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.

Previous experience working within CAMHS or with children and young people in a mental health setting.

Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the service.
