The project:

Supporting the BIM and digital engineering lead with the implementation of the business unit specific digital engineering strategy (DES) across all projects within the business unit in accordance with the Mace digital construction policy.

You'll be responsible for:

Establishing and delivering the digital engineering strategy on a construction project(s) within the construct engine.
Supporting the BIM and digital engineering lead with the implementation of the business unit-specific digital engineering strategy (DES) across project(s) within the BU, in accordance with the Mace digital construction policy.
Giving inputs to bidding for new work within the business unit, with the preparation of a project specific digital engineering plan (DEP), for presentation at the technical adjudication.
Ensuring compliance with the digital pathway on Mace Way and any other associated pathways on the associated project(s).
Preparing key project information for handover and easy access during the latent defect period.
Reporting on compliance of project(s) against the agreed annual plan.
Supporting the BIM and DE lead with rolling out necessary digital engineering training programmes across the business unit.
Supporting the business unit with achieving the innovation strategy and business improvement targets.
Submitting monthly KPI on allocated projects and staff to BIM and DE lead - monthly BIM maturity and KPI's.
Supporting BIM and digital engineering lead with monitoring and arranging the BIM and digital engineering training for sector staff as required.
Attending and contributing to BIM and digital engineering working groups.
Ensuring that digital management plans (DMP) are produced for all projects.
Obtaining input from senior peer reviews.
Assisting with the appointment of design teams on BIM enabled projects.
Ensuring that BIM execution plans (BEP) are project specific and current on all live projects.
Supporting or act as the project information manager with implementation of project standards, methods and procedures in accordance with ISO 19560 Part 1 and 2: 2018 as set out in the project BIM execution plan.
Supporting the project delivery manager with compilation and management of the MIDP and alignment with the responsibility matrix (LOI & LOD), assessing the task team's capacity to deliver information in accordance with the MIDP and assure the project information model is delivered in accordance with the MIDP.
Assisting with the preparation of digital scope of work documents for all sub-contractor procurement on all projects.
Ensuring all correct BIM documentation on sector's projects are in line with the digital pathway on Mace Way and any other associated pathways.
Supporting projects with implementing 3D coordination and federation, visualisation, 4D animations, 5D quantity take-off and costs, AIM and BIM field.
Liaising with PDS for implementation of all digital platforms on all projects.
Implementing all project specific business intelligence reporting on project performance such as BIM360Build, tag and track, tower crane usage dashboard, Aconex, package-specific progress dashboards and the like.
Liaising with PDS to implement project specific business intelligence reporting for Aconex.
Ensuring Aconex is utilised as the design and pre-construction phase PPC.
Supporting construction directors (ConD) with establishing the construction and commissioning phase PPC technology on projects.
Creating and maintaining project specific SharePoint site as the entry point for all digital information for the business unit, creating sub-sites for each project within the business unit.
Ensuring that all key project information is identified and collected for project completion and is easily accessible during the latent defect period all in accordance with the Mace digital records standards.

You'll need to have:

Digitally savviness.
Ability to build lasting client relationships and to lead strong, motivated teams.
Construction or project management background.
Degree qualification.
Advanced understanding of ISO19650 and BS1192.
Consultancy or construction background.

You'll also have:

P6 advance user.
