As the College continues to develop the use of our extensive estate we have identified an opportunity for a dedicated role to support our Estates Helpdesk provision.

Your Duties

This role will be responsible for supporting the estates helpdesk and asset management solution, ensuring jobs are recorded, allocated and closed in line with Service Level Agreements. You will also;

  • Provide day to day support to the wider estates group including, but not exhaustive, key handling, outsourced works, liaising with contractors, property inspections, stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist with the collection and processing of records and data in relation to estate regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all jobs are recorded and actioned accordingly on the helpdesk.
  • Ensure contractors are booked in when required.
  • Liaise with contractors when works are escalated from the help desk.
  • Support the maintenance/contract manager with minor works and projects when required.
  • Take a leading role on the CAFM and asset management system.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding SLAs both internal to the department and wider estate.
  • Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure jobs are completed and signed off.
  • Support the Property Manager with property inspections, including grounds.

Person Specification

You will have good numeracy and literacy skills underpinned by a grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English Language. You will be IT literate and adept at learning and using IT systems. You will be committed to high standards and recognise the importance of value for money and will be able to use your initiative to progress tasks using effective communication techniques to do so.
