New Leaf Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit catering for pupils aged between 5 and 16 who have been permanently excluded in Walsall. We are a caring and inclusive school where high quality guidance and support for the whole school community is a priority. The highly skilled and dedicated team of staff support an holistic view of the pupils through a trauma-informed and nurturing approach to include not only their academic development but also their personal, social and emotional development. We encourage them to become well rounded individuals who are able to make a valuable contribution to their communities and progress on to the next stage of their education. We are striving to ensure appropriate support is identified and in place to enable pupils to succeed.

The role will focus on ensuring a robust, quality curriculum (including Careers Programme) across all Key Stages. This role will be non-class based, although will involve some team-teaching as part of the coaching process as well as cover on occasion.
