Are you looking to enhance your skills and be part of a successful team? Our client, with over 40 years of experience and multiple sites in the Midlands, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers continuous learning and development opportunities with a focus on assisting in management account production.

Main responsibilities:

  • Processing hourly payroll
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation
  • Posting to the general ledger cashbook and bank reconciliation
  • Supporting the Management Accountant with prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Leading or assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an accounts department
