Key
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Manage payroll, accounts payable, and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Prepare financial reports for the Headteacher and Governing Body, providing clear and actionable insights.Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the schools financial strategy.Support the administrative team with various operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.Proven experience in financial management, preferably within an educational setting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High level of proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Fluent Welsh speaker, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Welsh and English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
