Driver Hire are working on behalf of a market leader of industrial doors. They are looking for an experienced Administrator to join the team to help assist in the seamless delivery of services to clients on a temp to perm basis. Within the Barrhead branch the Administrator will play a vital role in liaising with managers, regional managers and all other departments.

Hours of work:

Monday – Thursday – 8am – 4pm

Friday – 8am – 3pm

Role details:

  • Being the main point of contact for all incoming enquiries to the company.
  • Providing a professional level of customer service via telephone support for customer enquiries while always maintaining an efficient and pleasant manner, ensuring all enquiries receive responses within an appropriate timescale.
  • Communicate with internal departments as required by the role.
  • Collate business information and documents for tenders and proposals.
  • Raising tenders and quotations, issuing same to customer base.
  • Maintaining and checking databases, manual filing systems and logs of information.
  • Coordinate staff travel arrangements including transportation and accommodations.
  • Assisting other office personnel (mainly the contract manager) with ad hoc admin tasks as required
  • Collating and issuing O&M Manuals to customer base
  • Raising invoices and applications onto Sage accounts package.
  • Raising Sales Orders into SAGE system and forwarding to appropriate personnel.
  • Raising Purchase Orders into the SAGE system and forwarding them to suppliers.
  • Collate invoices with orders and delivery dockets.
  • Collection of customer accounts via telephone/email/letter.
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts identifying outstanding transactions for accounts in dispute.
  • Resolving any account queries to ensure monies are collected.
  • Progressing bad debts and liaison with external collection agents where required.
  • Working with minimum supervision on the collection of overdue accounts.
  • Liaising with directors/managers regarding accounts queries and assisting with resolution of same.

To be considered, you'll be an experienced Administrator, and have:

  • Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft office packages
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
