The Role:
This role offers the opportunity for career advancement, with potential team leadership responsibilities based on demonstrated expertise and performance. As a Building Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in delivering top-notch building surveying services, overseeing projects from inception to completion with precision and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Crafting specifications and documentation for project tendering.Assisting with building regulation and planning applications.Designing and specifying projects of various scopes and complexities.Evaluating tenders and providing informed recommendations to clients.Chairing Project Progress Meetings and managing contract administration.Monitoring project budgets and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.Negotiating final accounts with contractors to maintain financial integrity.Meeting or exceeding designated fee targets. Essential Skills and Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Surveying.Chartered status with RICS or willingness to pursue accreditation.Proficiency in NBS specification writing and AUTOCAD.Experience in MS Project Programme preparation and project management.
