Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom RSM UK Full time
As one of the world's largest networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, RSM delivers big ideas and premium service to help middle-market businesses thrive. We are a fast-growing firm with big ambitions -- we have a clear goal to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally. This vision touches everything we do, motivating and inspiring us to become better every day. If you are looking for a firm where you can build a future and make an impact, then RSM is the place for you.

About the department

When you become part of our team, you'll discover a culture celebrating individuality, fresh thinking, flexibility and collaboration, whilst not only embracing change but impacting it. We're simply not a one-size-fits-all firm and work hard to create an environment where our people can make a difference - to themselves, their career, their teams, and to the success of RSM and our clients. As Ali Sapsford (our Head of Tax) states, "personality and fun are as big a part of our culture as is our passion for delivering a premium service to our clients... That sense of team is what attracts clients and staff alike to RSM, and it's one of the things I love about RSM"

Within the National Employer Solutions Service Line, you'll work within a strong and growing team of UK Employment Tax specialists alongside our Global Mobility and Share Scheme experts. We service clients across a variety of business types and industries, including start-up enterprises, mid-market organisations, public sector bodies and large corporations. We work closely with colleagues across the firm to provide a joined up service, combining expertise in accounting, audit and all relevant taxes.

Employer Solutions Assistant Manager:

"I joined RSM as a paralegal four years ago and quickly realised the Employer Solutions team offered great progression with plenty of opportunities to get involved in interesting work. I've been encouraged to work with a broad variety of clients across a range of industries, enabled by an incredibly supportive team with a wealth of experience and very high standards.

Due to the open culture at RSM, I've had the opportunity to build strong relationships and work collaboratively not only locally, but nationally across different service lines which has helped develop my technical knowledge. I also regularly work on projects with RSM international firms which has provided great exposure and I'm proud of my career progression since joining RSM.

The opportunities aren't limited to the day job, and I've been able to get involved in fundraising, CSR and grad recruitment - dinner at the House of Lords has also been a highlight"
