An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Group Finance team for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us on a permanent basis. We're open to discussion on the experience level of candidates, however, ideally you'll have experience in a similar role. You will report directly to the Senior Management Accountant and be involved in taking responsibility for the accounting of our Northgate Vehicle Hire and Northgate Fleet Management businesses, along with the chance to get involved in plenty of interesting project work.

Specifically, you'll get involved in raising sales invoices, prepayments/accruals and producing management accounts. You'll also work to provide meaningful variance analysis between actuals and budget to help the business understand drivers for Financial Performance, and input as required to the year-end consolidation reporting.

About you
First and foremost you will ideally have experience in a similar role, however, we are open to considering candidates on a case by case basis should they not have experience with all aspects of the role You'll have excellent attention to detail and ability to plan, organise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.You're able to use initiative, make reasoned decisions under pressure and are driven by process improvement.If you have strong experience with Excel that would be highly advantageous
