Our client is an established, full-service law firm that has proudly served the South West region for many years.

As their Private Wealth department continues to expand, the firm is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Paralegal to join the Exeter-based team. In this varied and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to:

Private Client Paralegal Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of probate administration, including liaising with institutions and overseeing the payment of liabilities and legacies
  • Prepare powers of attorney and assist with attorney/trust administration matters
  • Ensure meticulous file management, from opening to archiving and billing
  • Schedule and compile legal documentation
  • Attend client meetings to facilitate the signing of documents like wills
  • Build strong client relationships and support the team's marketing initiatives
Private Client Paralegal Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for client service and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a diverse workload
  • Superb written and verbal communication abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues
  • Attention to detail and a methodical, logical way of working
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary within private client matters would be highly advantageous, but applications from driven entry-level candidates will also be considered.
