In the role of Public Relations Intern, your efforts will be centered on enhancing our external communications and media relations. This includes playing a strategical role both in responding to and proactively managing communications across corporate, brand, and trade channels.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Public Relations Intern at Ferrero, your responsibilities will span a wide array of support roles for the PR Manager and the entire PR team. Your efforts will be pivotal in executing PR programs and activities aimed at enhancing public awareness of Ferrero and its brands, thereby building and protecting the company's reputation. This includes assisting in the development of strategical insights through competitor analysis and landscape reviews, as well as contributing to the creation of compelling content for Ferrero's digital platforms, such as the Joy of Moving initiative.

You will also be involved in the drafting and refining of press releases and external communications, including website content. Collaborating closely with the marketing, sales, and customer development teams, you'll help manage the PR calendar and track PR campaigns. Your role extends to assisting Global PR, brand PR, and Trade PR activations, as well as managing projects for the Joy of Moving UK CSR programme and its resource hub.

In addition, you will play a key role in social media project management for Ferrero UK, encompassing insight sharing, reporting from various channels, ensuring adherence to consistent guidelines, and managing day-to-day community interactions. Proactively assisting the management of content delivery by agencies, you'll ensure that Ferrero's messaging is timely and meets quality standards. Moreover, you'll produce media reports for internal circulation, help organise Public Affairs events, and attend significant meetings, both internally and externally.

You will also bring fresh perspectives based on the latest media and social media trends, oversee initial influencer due diligence, and efficiently manage reactive press office tasks to handle media inquiries promptly. Additionally, your role includes various administrative duties for the PR team, such as organising meetings, compiling evaluation reports, handling product orders, and providing conference support. Your contribution will be crucial in strengthening Ferrero's communication strategy and enhancing the company's public relations efforts.
