ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in London with the recruitment of a Senior Category Manager on a permanent basis.
This is a critical role within a Procurement team that is rapidly transforming and executing a new strategy and Operating Model under a new leader.
Requirements:
Negotiate exceptional supply contracts, to maximise value.
Business Partnering with Functional Leaders and Contract Owners.
Oversee Vendor Management, supporting Contract Owners and driving Quarterly Business Reviews with Tier 1 vendors.
Strong category expertise across technology categories, with knowledge of suppliers in this space.
Deliver discrete elements of Procurement Transformation.
Deliver a monthly Win Sheet of completed commercial contracts.
Training other team members as and when necessary to aid in their development.
Procurement advice and assisting the business with procurement related questions.
Exceptional commercial and financial acumen, with a solid understanding of how to create value from supply agreements.
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience within a Category management role.
Strong knowledge of Technology Procurement.
CIPS qualified preferred.
Experience of Procurement transformation.
Experienced in contract review and mark-up with understanding of contract law principles.
Excellent people skills.
