GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a fast growing and highly successful Commercial Property Consultancy in Droitwich.

We are currently looking to recruit a part time, Finance Assistant to join their business on a 12-month FTC, covering maternity leave.

We are looking for a candidate that can commit to 22.5 hours per week, which can be spread over 5 days or, completed in 3 full days between Monday - Friday, with a salary of £25,000 (Pro rata)


We are looking for the successful candidate to start in May 2024 in order to have a successful hand over period.

To be considered for this role you MUST demonstrate experience and a good understanding of accounts, particularly sales and purchase ledger

Finance Assistant main duties:

  • Approve all rental and service charge demands
  • Import bank statements and reconcile receipts and payments for all bank accounts (main client account and all service charge accounts)
  • Input contractor invoices on to Released Property system against the correct expense codes ensuring payments are being made from the correct ledger (landlord cost or service charge)
  • Arranging payments for creditors due from all accounts
  • Keeping on top of arrears and issuing final demands if necessary
  • Processing owners disbursements on quarter days and issuing owners statements to clients, arranging payments for all rental disbursements
  • Recharging building insurance renewals to tenants
  • Input of new tenancies on Released (CRM) and generating deposit invoices when required.
  • Training on Released (CRM) will be given.

Administrator desired skills and experience:

  • Previous finance/accounts experience is essential
  • Good understanding of accounts particularly sales and purchase ledger.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to 'step up' if required
