Retreat Limited in Chorley are recruiting for Apprentice Commis Chef.

The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Catering and Hospitality which will take approximately 16 month to complete.

Duties;

  • Knife work.
  • Set up kitchen, vegetable prep
  • Involved in the production of all items on the menu
  • Create and have input on recipe ideas or dishes on the specials board
  • Production of a wide range of dishes, using many ingredients and meats.
  • Grow into a fully fledged chef

Requirements:

  • Good hygiene
  • Great attitude
  • Willing to learn and handle the pressure of a busy kitchen

Grades:
No formal qualifications required.

Hours:
5 days a week / hours a week / Earliest start is 10:00am - Latest is 10:00pm / 30 mins unpaid lunch
