PMLD Teaching Assistant

Long term (Potential to go permanent)

About The Role

The teaching assistant will be required to work 5 days per week (8:30 - 16:00). You will be responsible for supporting students with complex needs and sometimes expected to work 1:1 with the students.

Students are usually taken off site at least once a week and with all staff required to provide additional support.

About The School

The school is located a short walk from then nearest station.

The school caters for around 100 students, all with ASD, MLD, SLD and PMLD, usually in a class size anywhere between The school are looking to take on full time members of staff long term only, which will look to turn into a permanent position.

You must have

  • Previous experience supporting students with ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD
  • Must be able to work 5 days (8:30 16:00)
  • Must be Proactive, energetic and passion for SEND
  • Must have UK right to work documents
  • Must have a DBS on the update service, or willing to pay for a new one
