We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and ambitious teacher with a passion for Science. The successful applicant will be student-centred and a collaborative practitioner who will endeavour to develop, maintain, and stimulate students' curiosity and enjoyment in the subject. Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to teach Chemistry to Key Stage 4. Although the role is part time, we would be willing to offer the successful candidate the role of Cover Supervisor two days per week.

Science is taught throughout the age range and at all levels of ability. In Key Stage 4, we offer both Separate Science and Combined Science (Trilogy) and we follow the AQA syllabus. In the Sixth Form, students can follow courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Science and Animal Management. All courses are very popular with students and there is a strong record for securing good outcomes for students.

We welcome applications from ECTs and we offer an excellent ECT induction programme.

In our most recent Ofsted inspection, in October 2021, we maintained our status as a 'good' school. We are highly committed to managing teacher workload and offer a fortnightly home-based PPA session to all teaching staff.
