Sir William Stanier School is looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher with a focus on teaching, learning, outcomes, assessment and reporting. We wish to appoint an outstanding individual with a record of impactful leadership in their current role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing teaching, monitoring pupil progress and supporting pupils to achieve excellence throughout the key stages. The role would suit someone who is passionate about the quality of education, and is keen to develop their leadership further, using evidence, teacher development and a knowledge rich curriculum to ensure excellent outcomes for all. It will include the opportunity to shadow the work of the Deputy Headteacher who oversees the quality of education at Sir William Stanier School. This is an exciting role and one where commitment, ideas, underpinned by research, and strategic planning will be key in delivering success.

The successful candidate will be joining the school at a very exciting time as it continues to make rapid progress. In the recent Ofsted Monitoring visit, it was noted that "The school promotes an open and reflective culture, where staff are encouraged to improve. Staff feel well supported in their roles. They value the collaborative atmosphere that permeates the school and helps them work together to strengthen their practice."
