We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Utilities team based in Northern Ireland.

Location: Northern Ireland, Belfast - hybrid working available, occasional travel to site will also be required

Contract: Permanent - full time - flexible hours available if desired, just let us know

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Contracts Management team, supporting them in the successful delivery or a collaborative, open book bespoke £100M Target cost gas construction and maintenance contract.

Your day to day will include:
  • Record, check and run reports on cost and value utilising Causeway Project Accounting (CPA)
  • Calculate productivity bonus payments and prepare monthly and final applications for payment as well as the assessment and payment of sub-contract applications
  • Weekly, monthly and ad-hoc commercial reports including monthly CRV's
  • Accurately forecast, monitor and report project costs and values by interrogating cost reports and interpreting financial data reconciling cost and value
  • Preparation of cost estimates and other ad-hoc duties to support the wider team and business.

    What are we looking for?

    This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
    • Have experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Accounts Manager
    • Experience with high volume low value projects
    • Have excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
    • Have experience in a client facing role.
    • Hold a driving licence.
