Locum Consultant Neuroradiologist – North Midlands

National Locums are working on behalf on of an NHS trust based in Hampshire looking for a locum Consultant in Radiology with interest in Neuroradiology.

The Radiology department based in an NHS trust in the North Midlands are looking for a locum Consultant in Neuroradiology to start as soon as possible for up to 12 months.

Full-time and part-time hours will be considered. Remote working may also be considered.
This is an urgent requirement for Diagnostic Radiology.

The trust are a tertiary Neuro centre so you must have specialist Neuroradiology experience in Trauma and post-surgical imaging, angiography, perfusion etc.

Monday – Friday – hotseat acute neuro reporting (Emergency Dept and Inpatients), diagnostic and intervention head/neck Ultrasound lists, cold reporting oncology/OutPts, evening when on-call – 2-3 hours of scan checking (SpR first reports)Saturday and Sunday – 9 hours of predictable work – up to 100 acute scans per 24 hr period, CT and MR, plain, angio, venogram, MR head and spinePACS – SectraRIS – CrisCRIS for reporting.

You must hold full the following in order to be considered:
GMC license to practise.
NHS experience in Head and Neck Radiology.
Specialist registration in Radiology is desired however not essential.
