The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our VM team on a fixed term contract up until the end of the year, supporting us with permanent Projects for our Byredo and Kama Ayurveda brands.

This role will see you working closely to brand guidelines to develop, manage and coordinate the project delivery of Puig UK fragrance and beauty Capex projects from initial design to completion. You will work on builds, concessions and new openings within own stores and key retailers.

What you'll get to do
  • Establish briefs and develop exciting retail spaces for CapEx projects whilst meeting needs of the commercial market, retailer and consumers.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to while incorporating requirements of the market and relevant stakeholders.
  • Project management of projects providing necessary information to relevant stakeholders. This includes co-ordinating / communicating /managing shopfitters, GC, MEP specialists and liaising with HQ.
  • Coordinating on the design pack submission, programmes, schedules, and other documentation to monitor and track the project progress.
  • Review technical drawings and feedback to suppliers and retailers as required and submitting to HQ / retailers for approval.
  • Provide technical solutions based on retailer / brand requirements. Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues that can impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity on multiple projects.
  • Main point of contact & comms between Global store design & regional team.
  • Provide and manage CPA for all store design projects including approvals, costs, manufacture & installation, sharing updates with key stakeholders.
  • Main point of contact for shopfitters for UK projects including supplier tendering for new projects, ensuring within time & budget constraints.
  • Manage, assist, and develop all MEP engineers, permit expeditors, LL, and architects for all free-standing stores.
  • Carrying out inspections both on and off-site of the works by the general contractor, specialist contractors and suppliers appointed, and then effectively communicating to the business on progress
We'd love to meet you if you have
  • Flexible to work overnight builds and installations around the UK.
  • Strong understanding and experience of luxury retail construction environment and attention to detail / quality standards.
  • Solid Project Management experience within the Fragrance, Beauty or Luxury Retail industries.
  • Decisive problem-solving skills with regards to construction materials and methods a must.
  • Excellent ability to think spatially and visually, understand flow and proportion of spaces as well as form and function of fixtures, and translate ideas into cohesive design concepts based on own understanding as well as the needs/requests of related business partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen with financial and investigative capability. Ability to budget and manage project costs and a solid understanding of financial reconciliation of construction related costs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and drive team success.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Flexibility in dealing with and reacting to changing priorities as well as multitasking.
