A xero gold partner, they represent a broad client base, alongside a few niche and interesting sectors including media, technology, celebrities and property.
This role will suit someone with director designate ambitions. The directors have been promoted from within and the right candidate will have this opportunity also. Applications from candidates who would prefer to remain at Manager / Senior Manager level are also welcomed.Reporting to the Directors, the Senior Practice Accountant / Client Manager will take responsibility for a portfolio of individuals, owner managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients with turnovers up to the audit threshold.
You will be the first point of contact for the clients, dealing with day-to-day queries alongside ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and to deadline.
Responsibilities include:
- Client portfolio management including dealing with client queries and providing advice
- Year-end accounts production
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns
- Managing the workflow for junior team members

Essential Requirements:
- A strong background in accounts preparation and taxation experience, gained from general practice.
- Good IT skills and knowledge of a variety of accounting packages including IRIS, Sage and Xero
- Confident and professional manner
