Head of Civil Engineering

Cambridge

£70k-£75k plus package

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Chartered Civil Engineer who is looking to make a strategic career move where you can demonstrate your talents and take this firm to the next level.

Our client is an established name in multidiscipline engineering and they are seeking a dynamic and motivational leader to make a significant impact on the growth and success of the office. Liaising with leadership from all offices, you will contribute towards the company's vision for the future, impacting on the route taken.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the civil engineering division, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from concept design through to construction and completionDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growthLeading and mentoring a team of talented civil engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of performance and technical excellenceCollaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering projects with other disciplines such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineeringStay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain the firm's competitive edgeEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures Requirements: A degree in civil engineering or equivalentA Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional engineering bodyProven experience as a Civil Engineering Director or in a similar leadership role within the engineering industryStrong technical expertise in civil engineering, with a track record of successful project delivery across a diverse range of projectsExcellent business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunitiesStrong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding resultsExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners,Equity investment capability to become an equity partner in the firm On offer is a competitive salary and package.
