If so, this Teaching Assistant - Literacy Focus position is the perfect opportunity for you. A brilliant primary school in Wandsworth are searching for someone like yourself to support students in EYFS, KS1 & KS2, specifically focusing on their literacy development. You will be working alongside talented class teachers to deliver group intervention and 1:1 sessions, all tailored around Reading, Writing and Phonics.

Within this role you will be working within the classroom, gaining first-hand experience with a variation of pupils as you lead 1:1 and group intervention sessions to improve their reading, writing and phonics skills. This can also involve supporting pupils with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc) and tailoring the way the curriculum is delivered to suit their individual needs.
