GES are currently recruiting for Assistant GL Accountant to join our Finance team. You will ensure the timely and accurate production of Management Accounts by delivering allocated tasks on schedule. This will include the production of balance sheet reconciliations to strict deadlines and following through to ensure reconciling items are dealt with promptly and standing journals updated.

What will you do?

You will:
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline.
  • Support the Field Finance and FP&A teams to produce their forecasts and reporting.
  • Prepare and enter cashbook journals.
    • Prepare and enter allocated month end journals.
  • Load month-end submissions into HFM and complete validation checks for reporting to GES US.
  • Deal with queries and data requests from internal and external audit, and tax departments as required.
  • Maintaining PSA records
    What you will need?

    You will be Part-Qualified and actively studying with ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA with experience of a wide range of Finance department work . You will be able to interpret financial data to make practical decisions and be able to clearly communicate (verbal, written and listening skills), with people at all levels in the business, both Finance and non-Finance. Knowledge of SOX Compliance would be ideal.
