Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership for Bassingbourn Village College.Cultivate and retain top-tier leaders within the secondary sector.Pioneer innovative school leadership models for widespread application.Elevate the quality of education by adapting teaching and learning methods.Ensure alignment with the Anglian Learning Blueprints and uphold operational support efficacy.Collaborate with the Trust central team, offering valuable insights into academy achievements.Expectations for the Principal:Active commitment to Anglian Learning's vision, values, and frameworks.Build a team of high quality, high impact leaders.Effective relationship building with the school community, including staff, parents, and governing bodies.Transparent and constructive communication of complex messages.Personal commitment to learning and championing equality of opportunity.Resilience and capacity for overcoming challenges.Ability to create and sustain strong, supportive, and nurturing relationships.Willingness to seek out best practice within and beyond the Trust, demonstrating a hunger for improvement and innovationProven leadership resulting in excellent Ofsted outcomes. The Principal will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership ensuring the success of the academies.
