Job description


Working as part of our Operations team, the successful candidate will provide graphics and virtual production support to our clients working on a wide range of productions. Although based in Manchester, the role will include opportunities to travel throughout the UK and internationally.


Key responsibilities:

 

Graphics


  • Prepare and operate graphics for live and pre-recorded productions, post-production and outside broadcasts.
  • Problem-solve and analyse issues in a pressurised live studio environment, whilst prioritising work to achieve tasks, objectives and responsibilities in a specified time frame.
  • To act promptly when results may not be achieved, taking timely decisions and appropriate actions to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advise production staff on operational possibilities of equipment and act as a credible, informed reference point to others.
  • To liaise with the creative team to ensure any new templates are introduced to the playout system and to test them to make sure they work correctly.


Virtual Productions


  • Assist with the installation and set-up of green screen studios.
  • Provide live support including keying & augmented reality operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when required.


Experience:


  • At least 2 years working as a graphics operator in a live studio environment. (essential)
  • Graphics development experience. (desirable)
  • Virtual Studio set-up and operations. (desirable)
  • Camera tracking calibration and operations. (desirable)

  • Desire to learn and work with new technologies.
  • Calm under pressure and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Good team player, who is self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends.
