Job Title: Supply Chain and Race Team D365 Product Analyst


Location: United Kingdom


Primary Relationships:

Supply Chain & Racing Team, Department colleagues, Operations Director and leadership team, Race Team Principal and leadership team, all key D365 users within Supply Chain and Racing Team.

Purpose:

  1. To lead and optimize the integration of Microsoft Dynamics D365 within the Supply Chain and Racing Team departments, ensuring efficient use of the system through a combination of DevOps and SysAdmin responsibilities.
  2. To contribute directly to the team's goal of consistently being among the top three teams in the FIA Constructor’s Championship.


Primary Responsibilities:


ERP System Implementation & Support:

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Microsoft Dynamics D365 ERP system.
  • Provide technical support, addressing and troubleshooting D365-related challenges, ensuring system stability.


DevOps & Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 deployments specific to the Supply Chain and Racing Team.
  • Implement automation to streamline updates, ensuring reliability and efficiency in system releases.


System Administration & Security:

  • Oversee the administration of the D365 environment, focusing on performance, security, and reliability for the Supply Chain and Racing Team.
  • Manage system backups, user roles, disaster recovery, and data integrity processes.


Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with Supply Chain and Racing Team departments to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring smooth integration and functionality of D365.


Training & Knowledge Sharing:

  • Lead and develop training sessions to ensure optimal use of D365 by end-users across the Supply Chain and Racing Team.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for ongoing reference.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Implement tools to monitor system performance and proactively address areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports detailing system health, performance metrics, and incident resolutions to keep stakeholders informed.


General Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate and contribute to meetings, offering insights and solutions where needed.
  • Maintain a professional and proactive approach, adhering to the company’s reporting structures and responsibilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for Microsoft Dynamics D365.
  • Take on additional duties as necessary, aligned with your expertise and role requirements.


Required Skills & Knowledge:


Education & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar ERP support role, ideally within Supply Chain in a fast-paced environment (experience in motorsport or Formula One is a strong advantage).
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365, with a focus on supply chain and operational best practices.


Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of system administration, IT security principles, and networking.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
