Role Overview: As a Junior Java Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our Java-based microservices architecture. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that support our rapidly growing business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Development: Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based microservices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of microservices.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for code and system designs.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Java development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot). Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
